Downtown.

I headed downtown for the day In the hope of visiting Ellis Island, unfortunately due to the crazy que I decided against it and explored downtown Manhattan instead. I headed to the world trade centre, ate by the harbour and walked up to union square through soho to people watch and sit in the sun.

The Hamptons

I think this was one of my favourite weekends. I got to go to the Hamptons. We initially travelled to South hampton towards Coopers beach, which was miles of the most beautiful coastline you could hope for. Nestled alongside the beach are some of the amazing houses where the rich and famous reside in the summer seasons.
We moved onto East Hampton to eat and settled on a little fish restaurant where I inhaled fresh lobster taco's and calamari in the sun.
As we drove on we passed bustling outside cafe's on the roadside specialising in lobster rolls, chowder and fish and chips before reaching the final part of our journey.

The Met.

^ Helping these ladies out.

We took a trip to the Metropolitan museum of modern art. One thing I really liked about this museum is that it has a vast array of many different items and not just pictures on a wall, the space itself is also super impressive you could spend many days in there.
We drove down to Greenpoint in Brooklyn to eat at diner that had been recommended to us and then headed home.

Guggenheim & Central Park East.

On Saturday I took a trip to the upper east side, I visited guggenheim and central park east by the reservoir. It was another sunny spring day so I made the most out of it spending the majority of the day outside and went to the museum just before closing in hope that it would be quieter. Out of all the museum's I have visited so far it's defiantly my favourite space and I love the design with the rotunda.
I also had to dash through grand central and couldn't resist a picture of the ceiling, what a b-e-a-u-tiful station.
